Quiet Sunday

Today’s supper is unusally quiet.  Joshua is traveling back home the 5 hour drive from 1 weeks duty at the coast for the US Coast Guard Reserves.

Rachel and Melissa went to watch Caitlin’s holiday dance show of scenes from The Nutcracker.  I spent the time asleep with a slight cold and tooth ache.  Caitlin and I talked about it and agreed that grandma needed to rest and watch the free video that will be provided.

Hubby got in from splitting wood with my Dad and rested some before getting the livestock chores done before dark.

So tonight’s supper is roasted chicken with rice and steamed green beans.

Very quiet for a Sunday supper around here
