Rachel and TonyThings have been busy here in North Carolina

My family has continued to grow and be busy.

Rachel remarried in August of 2011 to Tony Miceli – they have welcomed a new little boy Camden Anthony Miceli on September 2012.

My grand daughter Caitlin turned officially into a teenager on December 2012 – she continues to be very active in school, dance and playing her trombone in her school band as well as being accepted into the county Honors Band.

Joshua and Melissa have been busy with his Coast Guard work and her college classes.

Gary and Heather have been busy getting over illness and working.

Keith and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniv. in January.

We haven’t been able to gather for Sunday Supper in a number of weeks due to illness. I look forward to getting together again.

Our small family farm – Soaring Eagle – now includes 2 horses named Buddy and Delilah, a billy goat named Crackers and a bull named Thunder. Soon we will have our new hen house done and filled with laying hens – for fresh eggs – the reintroduction of rabbits on the farm – to sell and use their dropping to support our addition of fishing worms. We are also expanding the number of honeybee hives. Baby goats are expected in late April/early May and hopefully a calf in September. The gardens are plowed – cabbage, broccoli and lettuce plants, carrot and beet seeds, as well as onion sets are ready to be planted next week. The plans to expand with a berry patch are going forward. We also hope to have the old gameroom from the campground renovated and made into a produce stand to make it easier for our farm shoppers to obtain fresh eggs, produce, honey and fishing worms.
